agreed... always annoyed me how you get stuck and your only option is to force quit the game with the PS button.
Better recovery is definately needed, but first they need to nail down this stupid stability mess in the first place. |

uggh... just ran some tests to a few servers in London, and the results are all over the freaking map. Some didn't even peak past 2Mb downstream. I was getting better streams to Reykjavik and several JP servers (these are from SC, in the US).
hope this isn't another one of those O2/BT fiascoes that drags out for 4-6 weeks before it gets sorted out..... |

Not sure if it will help you guys out or not, but trying to trace to the front end (or at least what I think was the front-end IP), I am stalling out after I hit the .250 address:
Quote:7 62 ms 61 ms 57 ms atl-bb1-link.telia.net [213.248.83.41] 8 36 ms 34 ms 40 ms ash-bb3-link.telia.net [80.91.252.217] 9 122 ms 124 ms 116 ms ldn-bb1-link.telia.net [213.248.65.97] 0 113 ms 124 ms 125 ms ldn-b3-link.telia.net [80.91.250.241] 1 115 ms 119 ms 116 ms eveonline-ic-138015-ldn-b3.c.telia.net [213.248. .198] 2 120 ms 114 ms 118 ms srv250-f.ccp.cc [87.237.37.250] 3 * * * Request timed out. 4 * * * Request timed out. 5 * * * Request timed out. 6 * * * Request timed out.
Again, this is coming from the East Coast, in the US. I can get across the pond fine and all, perhaps it's a matter of stalled routing at that next tier on your side? |

Richard O'Connr wrote:you guys might want to invest in getting a second Tranquility server so if one go's down for some resin you can bring the back up online and fix the mane one then when its fixed bring the mane one back online
if it were only just a server.... but it's a cluster.
But, more to the point....redundancy should be built into the equation to help releive various issues including but not limited to downtime (planned or unplanned). If they do in fact already have something in place, they need to go back to the drawing board as it is not working well enough. |
